Sincere and grateful thanks to the IBD nurses for their expert knowledge and guidance over fourteen months.

To the Doctors and nurses on Deene’s A, B & C wards over five hospital admittances, I have huge respect for you all. The nursing care given under extreme pressure, was exceptional.

To my Consultant Dr Kasimanicam and Surgeon Mr Kelkar, Thankyou for your understanding as I made the decision to have major surgery. The time and patience given together with lengthy explanations were very reassuring.

It is two months since my surgery and I wanted to let you know at a time when everyone seems to be complaining about the NHS, about my positive experience with my local hospital ie. Kettering General Hospital.

You all deserve a ‘pat on the back’ for your total dedication.
