Absolutely OUTSTANDING patient care at Buckland Ophthalmology Unit on 23 April 18. Despite an equipment malfunction, no cataract operations were cancelled as the WHOLE team simply transferred to William Harvey and continued there as though nothing had ever happened. We were kept informed at all times, given choices, fed tea and biscuits, treated with dignity and respect and even a little humour was thrown in! ALL the staff were kind, polite and professional. The NHS at its very best. Whatever it is that you are all paid - the NHS should double it - and some. Absolute personification of what best practice should look like. Thank you Buckland.
