"THE BEST"

About: Bruton Surgery

I have attended this practice for the past sixteen years. I had previous seriously bad experiences in Sherborne and Wincanton which could have killed me. I am old and have lived and worked in many countries in North Africa, Europe, Asia and the Pacific. I have even worked in a hospital in Christchurch, New Zealand.. I know what I am talking about..

Since being recommended to this practice I have been extremely well looked after. I have had several critical life threatening conditions identified by the doctors and staff who have always endeavoured to obtain the right solution. It would be an indulgence to list my medical defects but by keeping me going these efficient people have enabled me to keep working well beyond normal retirement age and pay taxes. Also by doing all this I have also been able to do additional work and help raise money for St. Margret's Hospice.

By maintaining the traditional standards in medical practice, long since discarded in most parts of this country, they have helped me to maintain a decent way of life. One has to go to France or Italy nowadays to find this.

If anyone wishes to take issue with what I say they are welcome to contact me.

Thank you for your very kind words that have been shared with all our staff.

It is gratifying to see the hard work put in by all members of the team being appreciated.

I urge anyone who wishes to take an active role in helping challenge and support development of their local practice to consider joining its Patient Participation Group.

The meeting dates and previous minutes for them are usually to be found on the practice website, I usually update ours within a few weeks of a meeting so you can see the sort of things that are on the agenda.

The next Bruton PPG meeting is on Thursday September 6th 2018 at 5pm here at the surgery.
