"Poor communication skills"

I was bringing an elderly man for a stay in a ward in UCH, Euston Road,London he was nervous and asked me if I thought he would, ''get out alive?''. He had been a patient in the ward before and had said none of the staff could understand what he was saying to them or them him.

I told him to ask for the person in charge if he was worried about anything but he said he didn't want to make a fuss or be accused anything. I found this very, very frightening.
