About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Required ERCP. This was carried at at Wishaw General Hospital. Staff where very clear in what the procedure would ental. They provided me with all the relevent details. I was anxious about the procedure but staff were very reassuring. I had nothing to be anxious about. The procedure went very well. I felt my care was first class. Everything was very professionally handled and yet maintained a strong sense of caring.

Thank you for sharing your experience of attending Day Surgery, I'll make sure all the staff in the Unit see your feedback.

It's so important for people to be informed and be involved in decisions about their care and treatment and I'm delighted to hear that was your experience and that you also had a positive outcome from your procedure.

The staff in the Unit work very hard and always take time to talk with patients and relatives to ensure they know what is planned and I'm glad they were able to alleviate your anxiety.
