"Disillusioned and let down"

In March I called repeatedly over several days because I couldn’t get through to make an appointment. When I eventually got through the only appointment I could get was three weeks away in April.

The doctor I saw seemed disinterested and pressured to move things on to the extent that I was told my time was up, without even a basic or cursory examination of the health issues I had sort advice on. While I realise that my medical problems may not be serious, I had been and continue to be in relative discomfort.

Not only did my appointment feel rushed and under pressure to end, I also was made to feel as if I was wasting the doctors time. When I explained how difficult it was for me to get an appointment I was told by my Doctor that the surgery is struggling to cope with demand and that the surgery is ‘beleaguered’.

I now feel disillusioned and let down by the health service offered at The Malago Surgery.

I would be sincerely grateful if anyone could recommend another clinic that is less beleaguered.
