"Great service."

I couldn't rate my experience here any higher. I am struggling to accept the situation I have found myself in and have had a few years of pretty serious avoidance. When I was referred to the centre I read the reviews and was concerned, however need not have been. Staff on reception are friendly and helpful, all my messages have been passed on and calls returned promptly. My CPN couldn't have made me feel more at ease on my first visit, I took a friend to support me who remained with me the whole assessment without question. They were mindful of my fear of new people and were able to assign me the CPN who did my initial assessment as my regular CPN. She has been supportive and consistent. I tend to see her every three weeks but can reduce that if need be, like this week, this has been a hard week so my appointment for next time is in a forthright. I am always free to ring and speak to my CPN if needed. The community psychiatric nurse I see is knowledgeable, patient, understanding and shows genuine concern for my well being. I am aware of the general strain the NHS is under and in particular mental health services, but I cannot complain about the amazing service this centre offers me.
