"Urine retention infection in the bladder"

Had fever hot and cold and my whole body was aching and shivering .later went to pee it started burning .I thaught It has to be an infection .put up with it that night .next day saturday 7th of april 2018 I rang my surgery I told them the problem they said you are going to be waiting 4hours for a doctor to contact you you may as well go to A&E.I mounted my pushbike heading to royal london hospital told the reception my concern she registered me and told me to wait in waiting area .Within an hour I was called by a nurse .I told her my problem she took my blood pressure and wrote some stuff in computer and told me to wait for a gp to call you .Waited lesss than half hour then gp called my name and went in and told him what happened took my wee sample tested it and said that I have infection.Gave me antibiotics for to take 7days he said my infection is rare because of my age 58 and it may come back again .went started the anyibiotics and started to feel a bit better sunday and Monday evening I started to feel sick and tired and when I go to toilet I only dribble .I started to think somthing wrong .The pee dribble is getting less and less untill it stopped all together .my bladdder is full and I could not pee put up with it that night .tuesday morning the tenth of april headed to royal london got to the reception registered and sat down.called by the nurse after 15 minute told her thar I could not pee she took me straight to the doctor who himself examined me and took me straight to cubic no ? A doctor came to see me with a nurse spoke to me about the problem and examined me and decided to empty my bladdder but before he asked me if he can examine my prostate I replied fine .He examined me and asked me if I am constipated I replied yes and straight away he knew my urine retention and infection was caused by constipation .he ordered the nurse to give me some tablets and do a blood test .when my bladder was emptied I felt a relief .cut the story short I was fixed with a catheter for a week and antibiotics .after a week went back this time to lithotipter dept I was seen on Wednesday At 8.50.in the morning before even the reception opened .the nurse took my catheter I felt relieved .gave me a jag of water and a cup and told me to drop it slowly and try to pee in the jag in the toilet which she empties and measures to make sure I pee the right amount am supposed to pee .after she examined me and said well done everything is fine now I thanked her and left I said hopefully you never see me again because am going to be careful it is not going yo happen this is just a warnig .for my age am still living as I lived since I was a young man .it is time to pack up alc altogether go on a diet plenty vegetables and fruits exercise .This is all caused by back pain and a tear in knee minescus (waiting for the op )contributed to less activity that contributed to my constipation that contributed to urine retention and infection .our body all joined together .
