Day surgery. Excellent care throughout. Very clean and comfortable environment. Clear explanations at every stage from all staff encountered. Anaesthetist was very reassuring, explaining all precautions she would be taking to minimise my reflux issues - which were a major concern of mine. One particular doctor was very approachable and explained everything clearly, all support staff could not have been more helpful - I was given plenty of time to recover well before going home, which really benefitted me.

All in all, I would recommend the team and Cumberland Infirmary to anyone choosing which hospital in the area.
