"Can’t even get through to them!"

About: Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

My dentist sent a referral at the start of January this year, I was told it could take 4-6 weeks for them to get in touch to arrange an appointment. That time had passed and I hadn’t heard anything so I called my dentist who advised me the referral had definitely been sent and that I would need to ring the oral surgery department directly to see what was happening. For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to get through, someone answered once and said that they needed to transfer me through the the person who dealt with referrals. They transferred the call and I just got a dead tone. So i tried to call back straight away and still haven’t been able to get through since. I know the nhs is stretched at the minute and there are a lot more important things going on than my jaw but honestly this is becoming unbearable. Pleeeease help!
