"Slightly disappointed after Consultant's..."

About: Leicester General Hospital / Gynaecology

I had an appointment with the Consultant on the 24th November 2017 which was very reassuring.

I was informed that a follow up appointment would be arranged with a Continence Nurse at the Gynae Service Unit.

As I had not heard anything I phoned on three occasions to enquire about the appointment and each time advised that I was on the list - (January, February and March) and in March was then given to understand there was an 8-10 week waiting list but up to the time of writing I have not received any communication whatsoever.

My condition has not improved and in fact has deteriorated.

Whilst I thoroughly appreciate the pressure NHS are under, I would be obliged if I could receive some positive news re. an appointment,

Dear Sylvia,

Thank you for taking the time to post your review.

We’re really sorry to hear that you are still waiting for an appointment. Please could you send your details (address, date of birth and hospital number) to Rod.C.Teo@uhl-tr.nhs.uk so we can look in to this for you?

Kind regards,

Rod Teo
