What I liked
The efficient and effective teamwork of both the A&E and specialist stroke unit teams who dealt with my case in exemplary fashion. The nursing staff in the Stroke Unit ward were 1st class. The porters and specialist medical unit staff were friendly, helpful and communicate; they all seemed to enjoy their jobs
What could be improved
Your webiste could be improved - I couldn't find an option to choose the UCL stroke unit. Food was fairly good, but twice they got my order wrong, which was a little annoying. I was in a ward with mainly elder patients and I think it would be really good to have a laminated one pager for each bed that sets out the features of the ward ( a bit like you find in hotel rooms) eg. normal times for drs. rounds, visiting times, meal times, how meal choices work, how to work the TV and provide a bit of explanation on why discharge might take some time etc. - I think this would really be useful for visiting relatives so they can explain things to their family member and don't have to ask the nurses these questions. It would save the nurses time as well.
