Attended A&E at County Hospital recently.
Booked in with receptionist and taken through to triage nurse within 10 minutes. Triaged and then taken straight to cubicles.
Introduced to assigned nurse. Initial investigations carried out promptly including ECG and bloods. CT scan done a few hours later.
We were kept informed of progress throughout visit.
Doctor very thorough with examination.
All staff we came into contact with are a credit to their profession and to the hospital; nurses, doctor, radiology staff, porters and HCAs.
Cleanliness of areas we visited was A*.
Housekeeping assistant worked very hard and efficiently.
Just a pity Stafford no longer has this excellent service 24/7.
"Excellent, prompt, efficient care received in A&E"
