What I liked
My elderly mother was admitted to Trinity ward at Harwich hospital and stayed for around ten weeks. Sadly at the end she passed away, but during her stay she was looked after by a wonderful team of people including the doctors, nurses and household staff.
She was treated with great patience and kindness, and at the end of mums life the same was shown to those of us that wished to be with mum during her last few days.
The hospital was always clean and tidy, and the staff welcoming.
What could be improved
On several occasions I tried calling the main published telephone number, only for it to go unanswered. When trying to find out information this was very frustrating.
Fortunately I got hold of the direct line to the ward which was always answered.
