"Outstanding team on E5 Children's Ward"

My husband I would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone involved in our daughter's care. She was admitted and treated for a ruptured appendix over the Easter 2018 period and despite the stress of seeing our four year old so poorly, we cannot fault one aspect of the experience. The nurses, health care assistants, domestics, surgeons, play therapy staff, consultants, physiotherapists, and and administrative staff all contributed to ensuring her experience was as bearable as possible. Singing happy birthday to her and giving her a gift as she turned five in hospital was a special touch that went way beyond your duty of care. The NHS is criticised so often, and praise for it is heavily under reported. You all do an incredible job and should be very proud of the service you offer to the children and the worried parents in your care. Thank you so very much.
