What I liked
I was treated in Hopkins, involving surgery. My wait was long as I was at the end of the morning list but I had been informed about this The admissions procedure was careful and rigorous. The staff were very friendly, patient and thoughtful. I was quickly anaesthetised by an excellent team. The recovery team were friendly and very supportive. It took a while for transport from the ward but then I was returned quickly. My surgeon reported briefly the news of the surgery immediately. I had lunch (a bit dry but I was late). My requests for food and drink were quickly met by attentive staff at all levels, despite the pressure they were clearly under. I had a reasonable supper before being released to go home.
I was impressed by the multicultural nature of the staff, including native British. They appeared to be well-trained to deal with their patients in a professional way. I give them warm thanks and gratitude.
What could be improved
Nothing.
Anything else?
Please congratulate the staff on their excellent work, over the many visits I have made. The oncology staff in Urology are great.
