My dad is currently in Darwin court ,we were advised by his Gp to attend for an x-ray asap following a fall which we promptly did ,once we got to x-ray they refused to do his x-ray as he had no form and told us to go to minor injuries which we did .The receptionist seemed more concerned with me standing behind the sign in the queue than helping .We were advised they couldn't help us and the nurses would not authorise an x-ray. Not sure what to do I took my dad back to the home .It was very stressful and all the staff we spoke to were uncaring and unhelpful .what an awful way to treat an elderly man with Dementia .
"Awful way to treat a frail Elderly man !"
