"ward 27 - Gynae"

Following my op been cancelled twice due to the Winter Weather Crisis i went onto Ward 27 this morning. Staff were lovely, reassuring and efficient. The ward appeared clean and tidy, the cleaner that I saw was thorough and polite.

My procedure went well and the theatre staff observed my anxiety and put me to sleep promptly.

My discharge was not delayed and seemed organised, my only negative is that I had asked twice for me to be given a sick note (as per notices on the ward) but this was not actioned. However the nurse said she will follow this up tomorrow and ensure it is posted out to me.

Also not been able to have my phone whilst I waited to go to theatre was an inconvenience... It would of helped pass the time as I was admitted at 7.30am and went to theatre at 12.30.... And was unable to keep my family and friends upto date...
