"Some great GPs and some poor GPs"

I’ve never felt the need to do reviews but after seeing the doctor and feeling silly and not reassured, I decided enough was enough. I even gave up in today’s appointment by deciding not to discuss another health issue. She wanted me to leave so I left.

I’ve saw this doctor three times and each visit she has been cold and lacks in empathy. I’m suffering with Complex PTSD and PND which I’m accessing therapy for.... but this does mean I experience a lot of anxiety. The doctor shows no compassion in this department. She dimsses my concerns with one word responses, I get no reassurance or explanation. I leave feeling none the wiser by my symptoms and felt to be made a time waster. In addition I went once regarding various fatigue she checked my blood results told me I was fine (again all in my head).... 4 weeks later another doctor checks and tells me an anaemic. I honestly don’t know why she’s in this career path. She really should work on her customer care. I’ve battled with anxiety about visiting the doctors for a very long time, it’s appointments and experiences like this that put you off. However there are other doctors that have helped me greatly and show much more compassion for their patients.
