"nice friendly place but unfortunately..."

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

What I liked

The staff at the hospital were very friendly and treated me well, they helped me out when I needed it and were very quick to do so.

What could be improved

Unfortunately when I was at this hospital everything seemed kind of rushed, I was in and out of the hospital several times because of multiple abcesses, they drained one but seemed to fail to notice the others so I had to come back again and again, and nerly every time I left the hospital I seemed worse than when I went in. At one point when I went back for a check up I was feeling dizzy and in a lot of pain, the doctor told me I was doing fine and barely a minute after leaving his office I nearly collapsed.

A local nurse recommended I go to a different hospital to be looked at where they noticed a fistula and a very bad infection which the doctors at Queen's hospital failed to see, the doctors at this new hospital also said they were disgusted at how my abcess wounds had been left. At this new hospital they found several more abcesses, dealt with the fistula and infection, and found out what exactly was causing all these problems within a short amount of time.

I'm sure the doctors at Queen's were doing their best, but since they seemed to miss so much it ws probably for the best that I went somewhere else.
