"McGill Nightmare"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

There is very little to say. Why don't the Drs listen to the relatives we know what the patient is like at home.

right hand doesn't seem to know what the left is doing.Asked for a meeting to discuss care, nurse replied" not that easy". Phone call?? still waiting. ...

Nobody realised my mum had not eaten all day and had hardly drank anything

Poor communication, the only plus the stopping of putting catheters in for no reason

Nurses doing there best, but not enough of them. Such a shame after exemplary care in A\E

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding McGill ward. I am sorry that your experience of the ward was not of the high standards we aim to provide. I have shared your comments with the clinical leaders, however, if you wish to discuss your individual circumstances further, please do contact our customer care team on 01256 486766 or email customercare@hhft.nhs.uk who would be happy to help.
