"Treatment for infection"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary

(as the patient),

Referred by GP for resilient kidney infection, admitted to Surgical Assessment ward.

Nursing staff were friendly, caring and did all they could to help.

Had expected the worst from hospital food but found the food to be really good and plenty of it, even if there was nothing you fancied for lunch etc it wouldn't be long before more snacks etc were available.

Was very impressed by the levels of cleanliness in and around the ward, the two cleaners worked exceptionally hard (for presumably very little reward) and at no point did I see anything that required attention.

Thank you so much for your comments and it is very pleasing that your experience was a very positive one.

I shall pass your comments to the Head of Nursing for Surgery and also the Ward Manager for the Surgical Assessment ward so that they can be shared with the ward staff.

Thank you for your comments about the food and about the cleanliness of the ward. I have also passed your comments to the Manager for Estates and Facilities who will share these with the staff concerned.

Thanks again for taking the time to post your very positive views on the Patient Opinion website .
