The ante natal service is awful. No one ever picks up the phone, I had to call for 5 days in order to reschedule an appointment. They booked me a scan without calling me to ask me if the day suits me, and then they don't pick up the phone if I need to re-arrange.

Midwifes do not take your blood test and urine, I had to wait another 2-3 hours to do those in a separate part of the building; midwifes follow process and don't listen much to what you have to say; the midwifes make it impossible to receive a scan which you need and which another hospital recommends without asking - for someone who has SUA (you will know what this is if you have it); they make you wait an hour and half for your glucose test before they call you in only to wait a further 2 hours - what they should do is give all 15 people waiting an appointment instead of waiting hours to be seen! The midwife was rude to me for being late for my appointment, but I waited on average 1 and half hours to be seen each time I arrived on time for my appointments. One guy in reception is rude. The people who go there for care are like animals; they argue loudly in the lift and it feels unsafe to go in and out of the hospital; perhaps the hospital staff have adapted their attitude to the animals that go there for treatment?! Overall, AVOID because stress is the last thing you need to feel when you are pregnant.
