"High level of care"

I have birth to my slightly premature daughter in March. As my first baby, I didn’t really know what to expect but was so impressed and grateful for the incredibly high level of care given to us. From the moment we set foot in the delivery suite we were looked after by a lovely midwife who kept things feeling calm and explained everything she was doing all the way through. After a fairly drama-free birth in the delivery suite, we were moved up the maternity ward where we received care and checks throughout the night. After being discharged we needed up being re-admitted for treatment for jaundice and spent another 48 hours in the maternity ward. From beginning to end our experience of the midwives and care we received was brilliant - they really care about you and your baby and this is clear in the way you are looked after. I am so grateful for my experience at Gloucester hospital and would recommend it to anyone.
