About: West Middlesex University Hospital / Accident and emergency

My brother had gone into A&E via ambulance following a long seizure which he hadn’t come around there wasn’t a long wait to see the doctor as it was fairly quite but I’m not happy with the fact that he was discharged- no scan was done I had to wait for over three hours for a blood test to come back and he was kept saying his legs feel numb and nothing was done about this and he had operation a week before here and no one from the ENT team came down to see him as well as doctors were worried he could of done some damage due to the seizure. The neurologist that came to see us didn’t understand anything about his medications either and they weren’t willing to give him liquid form of medication despite him not being able to take tablets due to an operation on his tongue. More should of been done to help and other specialists should of come to see him. Usually this hospital is quick and has good communication with other staff and departments but despite being so quiet with only a handful of patients no one managed to find the cause of what was making his legs feel numb or to see if any damage had been done to his nose or tongue. Surprisingly I’m still waiting over a week later for an appointment for to remove his plaster.... wish I had better things to say as I really rated this place high in every way
