My wife is currently receiving treatment in the geriatric ward at this hospital. The ward is outdated with poor ventilation, inadequate natural light, and with six beds to a bay is over crowded. Having spent millions on upgrading most of the hospital, it is time some attention is given to facilities for the elderly. Currently the ward is neither conducive to the recovery of patients nor working conditions for the staff.
