"Chiropodist appointment at West Bridgford"

About: West Bridgford Health Centre

(as a relative),

My Husband had a stroke 12 years ago and 5 years ago I took over cutting his toenails and we were not getting as good service from the chiropodist.

However I am now unable to do this anymore. To see the chiropodist at West Bridgford health centre, I was told we needed a referral from my husband’s doctor.

I asked the doctor for the referral but never heard anything from the health centre. I rang West Bridgford and they said it has to go through Mansfield. So I rang them they said they had not had any referral through.

I rang my GP and they confirmed they had faxed over the referral and agreed to fax it a second time.

My husband still does not have an appointment.

The health centre is a mile down the road. I used to be able to ring to book an appointment direct with the health centre now we have to go through this drawn out process.
