"Prostate Biopsy"

I attended Ward B4 for a prostate biopsy on 22/3/2018. The staff on duty the Staff Nurse and her assistant for the day, together with the consultant were courteous, professional and reassuring throughout. I was nervous but they put me and fellow patients at ease. All are a credit to this hospital. The ward was clean and organised and an event I was dreading passed very quickly and successfully. I was checked over and on my way post procedure after a four hour stay, thank you all.

As an aside the individual who compiled the pre procedure information on the prostate biopsy has written an excellent fact sheet very accurate. From my initial blood test for a well man screening follow up appointment with my GP, visit to the Urologist, MRI scan and subsequent biopsy three weeks not without worry but fantastic service.
