"What an absolutely shameful service"

First of all, let me say that if I could give this a rating of 0 I would. Called this morning at 8:30 to ask for an appointment for my daughter, only to be told that a duty doctor would call me back first. Waited until 12:30 and called back. I was told that I had been called and that a message had been left. I had my phone by my side all day and not once did it ring. I asked to have a call back and was told it was on the list. Waited until 2:30, still no phone call. So I decided to ring again thinking maybe they had the wrong number. Still no phone call... decided to phone NHS 111 to be told that I should take my daughter to the emergency department of the local hospital (Which I was told they should have said to me on at least one of my three phone calls). The staff at the hospital were fantastic anf took their time to ensure that my daughter was comfortable and happy. Rooksdown GP Surgery pffers an appalling services, from an appalling surgery. The place is getting worse and worse and it is unlikely to improve.
