"Continuing to fail my child"

After over a year to get an ASD diagnosis (which is a short time scale by their standards - see their inspection reports), I thought my 6 year old son would be given help for his aggression and anxiety.

Upon diagnosis via tier 3, our concerns were dismissed as "we don't consider he has any mental health issues"

After enduring months of being hit and spat at every day, biting teaching staff, kicking strangers at bus stops etc as well as self harming behaviour in form of skin picking, I got a referral again from GP. This time CAMHS tier 2 didn't even bother to fob me off in person. They told me over the phone they wouldn't help him because there were "gaps in the service" and ASD school team should help him. Behaviour is like this in and out of school and certainly not just the term time hours they follow.

No kidding.

They will end up paying out more money in the end as without intervention my son won't improve. Absolute waste of time in my opinion.
