"Impressed by the speed of service, care and compassion"

I'm a paramedic with LAS, just thought I would send you some positive feedback for the SPA.

We attended a palliative patient under your care that following a fall one of your consultants wanted her to attend A&E for an X-ray. The family and patient were very much against this and A&E was very busy that night. I phoned SPA and spoke to a nurse called Anna who was extremely helpful and respected the families wishes and our concerns. She talked us through pain relief we could give now and arranged for a syringe driver to come and be set up that night.

It wasn't until leaving that it became apparent the patient was very new to you guys from the weekend. The next morning I got a lovely message thanking us and letting us know that you had visited in the night.

I would just like to pass on how extremely impressed I am at the speed of service, care and compassion you gave this patient, and how great it was to receive a feedback message of thanks.
