"Absolutely useless"

About: Farnworth Health Centre 1

This week I have been sent home from work due to an outbreak of influenza A in the service that I work at, I have also Been showing symptoms. Work have demanded that I get tested and treated for influenza A before I can go back into the service. I rang my GP asking to be tested when they point blank refused to even see me even though i had a letter from the public health department saying 'I need to see my GP to be tested and treated'. The doctor said 'it is not their responsibility to test or treat me' considering this is an outbreak of swine flu I thought this was rather strange. My mother then had to ring back and demand I got an appointment (why did they fob a 21 year old off?) I got an appointment that evening. When I walked in the doctor was extremely rude, covering their mouth with their hand when I walked in. Pointed and raised their voice to tell me to sit. They then didn't have a clue what influenza A was, the pharmacist was currently in their office handing over information from Google. The doctor then continued to ask me what I want (aren't they supposed to be the doctor?) I told them I need to be tested and treated, they then replied with how do i test you? All through my appointment they proved they didn't have a clue what they were doing. Finally I got a prescription for the Tammy flu and an appointment with the nurse to be tested the morning after at 10am. Later on that evening I got a phone call from the doctor telling me I need to go back to the surgery 'right now' when I asked why they continued to explain that they had put my proscription in someone else's name (isn't this a breach of confidentiality?) I told them I would be back in the morning at 10 for my appointment and I would bring it back then. They continued to be arrogant and belittle me. The morning after I was in bed due to being ill when the doctors surgery woke me up, ringing to tell me my appointment isn't with the nurse it's with the doctor and they want me there before 9am. Isn't it funny how they couldn't fit me in yesterday yet when they've messed up and in breach of confidentiality they demand I go back in early. Well I'm sorry DR

I'm busy until 10am, the proscription has been photo coppied and the proof will be getting sent off. Maybe if you treated your patients with a little respect I would have helped you out. I will be refusing to see the doctor In future, I am Absolutely disgusted.
