A GP referral in Aug 10 and no appointment available to see a consultant until Dec 10 three follow ups of which were cancelled and the case was finished in March 11 with no satisfactory result, no information and no letters of explanation. Had the teenager not been messed around her gynae problems may have had a different outcome.
The care was not there.
The family planning clinic however has been absolutely fabulous. Taking the time and the care to see that the teenager is getting the right assistance and right medication - couldn't ask for anything better.
