"Week stay on Deane A"

About: Kettering General Hospital / General surgery

I was recently admitted and given a bed on Deane A. I was diagnosed with a perforated colon and underwent major surgery.

Now I am feeling on the mend I thought I should show my appreciation in some way

I have nothing but praise for the surgeons, they kept me informed before and after the operation.

My care from the nursing staff was nothing short of fantastic. The staff were rushed off their feet but managed to maintain a wonderful and happy attitude through out.

Thank you for your feedback and kind words regarding the care you received. We acknowledge how traumatic it can be for a patient to be admitted for emergency surgery, so really appreciate feedback from patients at a time when they may still be recovering. Hearing that all members of the medical and nursing staff provided you with such excellent care makes me very proud to be part of the team at KGH.
