About: Leigh Infirmary / Clinical haematology

(as the patient),

The service I have had by this hospital group is outstanding. My treatment now exists over 7 years from CML (chronic myeloid leukemia) and the use of all facilities has been really good. I am on expensive drugs but the leukemia would appear to be in remission - good news!

But the parking at here and Leigh is not good enough - I walk with difficulty and parking the car increases my problems, also costly. Parking notes are displayed but not accepted - NOT good enough.

Thank you for your very positive comments regarding the treatment you have received both at Leigh Infirmary and Clinical Haematology. This is very good to hear.

I was sorry to learn of the difficulties you experienced with car parking and we do recognised that this has been a problem for patients and visitors. In order to rectify this work is currently underway to vastly improve the car parking for visitors to Royal Albert Edward Infirmary and we envisage that this will improve the number of car parking spaces available. We hope that any future visits here will see a marked improvement in respect of car parking.
