"Draining - Frustrating Doctors and Reception Staff"

About: Sudbury & Alperton Medical Centre

Doctors fail all the time to want to help or take what you are saying seriously, I went constantly to a Dr for 3yrs saying there was something wrong as towards the end I was booking holiday days off work as I couldn't cope - I was constantly told I'm young and it's normal for young people to feel like this! I was 29! Turns out I had coeliac disease and due to the long wait to be diagnosed it had now caused other problems. Lucky i didn't have to go back to this doctors as I saw a specialist for a few years. Now I'm discharged from hospital I'm having the unpleasantness of going back here and guess what I'm being told again it's normal to feel tired! I demanded blood tests which I was reluctantly given but am I able to get the results a month on! no as this doctors doesn't book appointments in advance!

Receptionists are often rude and unhelpful, I can never get an appointment in advance. Always given the usual answer you cant book an appointment for more than two weeks in advance and they are always already taken! how are they always taken when do these people get to book them!? so told to book whats available on the day! I work in Central London when I tell them I work and have to give notice to my work for appointments they say there is nothing they can do. Not to mention always have trouble renewing my pill prescription the doctors always want to see you to give your prescription but as said previously can never get an appointment. Luckily i am rarely ill but for anything other than the above I always have to go to the walk in doctors service at Wembley hospital, which I have always had good service with even tho the wait can be long. This doctors would leave you waiting for an appointment then tell you you're young and it's normal to feel like your dying! If you are lucky to get an appointment you are never seen on your appointment time you usually wait on average 30-40 mins on top of your appointment time!

Don't register here! Patients are not a priority. Really had enough of it now....actively looking for a new surgery.
