I met my keyworker a few years ago when I was at the blackest point in my addiction. I had lost all hope and totally lost my direction. I had nowhere to turn to and importantly I had no one who I felt believed in me enough to want to help me.
I confessed all to my parents about my 15 years of drug use and this is when my brilliant key worker came into my life via my mum. He has sat and listened, encouraged and shown belief in me through my darkest times.
These keyworkers I was introduced to have become massive parts of my recovery and have shown me that I can change and that a drug free life is possible if only I learned to listen and listened to learn.
Amazing people that will always been in my life and in my now softing heart. Thank you.
"Thank you John G my keyworker, and John D"
