"Sharing experience"

About: Rotherham PCT

(as other),

The waste/duplication/inefficiency I want to tell you about is:

Based in my experience, different agencies and services areas do not network to share experience and therefore nothing is achieved.

I also think off label drugs are acceptable if they serve the same purpose - to keep me alive

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.

This comment was posted from our Stakeholder event in June. We are asking for help in identifying waste and inefficiencies within health services, as we want to make provide the best value we can for public money.

A full report of the event has been sent to attendees and NHS Rotherham Board. Details of specific actions and issues have also been passed to commissioning staff for action.

Specific Points Raised Above

A number of people stated that organisations should work better together. There was also a suggestion that we plan a combined event later in the year spcifically to improve communication and eleminate waste through ensuring we work more closely together.

This reflects the new structures that will be in place later in the year.

I will look into this alongside my colleagues in other organisations

Many thanks for raising this.
