Went to Dapdune Pharmacy today at 11.30 to collect routine repeat prescription ordered online . Whilst there , had prolonged coughing fit, so asked pharmacist if she could recommend something for cough which had had for 10 days, during which had done all ‘ right ‘ things, slept, drunk water, kept warm, taken over the counter cough linctus etc .Having heard the cough, she suggested I should make doctor appointment . Popped next door to surgery., expecting to get an appointment in about 2 weeks time . Kind, polite receptionist gave me appointment for 4.20 today . Seen on time by charming, efficient, LISTENING doctor, who , having looked up previous chest complaint 7 years ago and examined me, diagnosed chest infection and prescribed antibiotics. Collected at pharmacy 5 minutes later . That’s what I call service ! Thank you
