I was referred here last summer in 2017 by the home treatment team and was given a care coordinator in october 2017. I found the care coordinator rude and didnt feel supported at all. Everything i asked for like counselling was told we dont do that go to mind. I complained to pals after complaining to greenfields directly as I was only seen my care coordinator once every 4 weeks and getting nowhere.
I asked for a change in care coordinator several times to what feels fell on deaf ears. Anyway I didnt give up and complained numerous times to a particular member of staff who did look into my problems but shouldnt have come to this. Im already feeling anxious depressed and suicidal and could have done without the extra stress. Im now finally getting the help I need and have a new care coordinator and also help from an occupational therapist. The occupational therapist has done more for me in the first 2 visits i have had with her than what my care coordinator has done since last october. My message is please dont give up complaining if your not happy with the service your receiving or not receiving. It shouldnt come to this but sadly seems to be common practice those that complain get the help they need.
"Seems like you have to keep complaining to get..."
