I ended up visiting A&E on friday night with my 3year as he was struggling with his breathing. Despite the department being crazy busy they did see him pretty much straight away.
The treatment we received was excellent and despite his improvement they decided to keep him in overnight in Skylark ward for observations.
We had a quiet room and not disturbed too much. The food was also good and the only thing that annoyed me was the horrendous parking charge of £15 when we left the next day! An emergency overnight stay should not be a money making experience for the NHS!!
The doctors and nurses were great there (my childs been in twice before) but I am disgusted by the horrendous parking charges (£24 last time!!) Kettering place on this hospital.
