Today I brought my mum into A&E as an emergency, It was a very concerning situation that brought my mother into A&E however I just wanted to give some recognition to the staff for the high standard of care we received in such a unbelievably worrying situation. We were initially seen by a RN who immediately eased our anxiety by providing information, explanations, and truly professional care. What an asset to the department. Later, we were looked after by a CNS who was very prompt and inundated us with all we needed to know and left us with a positive plan of care for my mum. the CNS made sure results were handed over before finishing her very long shift.
I feel overwhelmed by the high standard of care receive today and couldn’t wish for anything better for my family in time of need.
It’s sad to be always hearing the negatives, today’s care was outstanding and made me very proud of the NHS.
"Recognition needed!"
