My mom was admitted via ambulance to the queen elizabeth A+E, and then to the clinical decision unit.We found the care to be of a high standard and the staff were very professional and kind. Her xray was performed speedily and efficiently. My mom was treated by a male military nurse who was respectful, kind and considerate.
The only criticism I can make is that she was transferred before midnight from the CDU to ward 513, and subsequently discharged the next day.Perhaps in hindsight it would have been better to have kept her overnight. However, they may have needed the bed. The rooms are excellent at the new hospital.
Overall a great experience, the staff work very hard and are often undervalued. Thank you for the wonderful care my mom received.
