From Bowel Cancer diagnosis to post surgery my husband received explemary care. The Consutants post operative phone call to me to let me know the operation had gone well and that my husband was in recovery was a lovely personal touch and made all the difference. Ward 16 nurses and HCA's were amazing and nothing too much trouble. Clinical Nurse specialists keeping us informed at all stages, a fabulous caring service of which they all should be proud. At a time when the NHS gets so much bashing, York Hospital should be congratulated on the Bowel Cancer Care service delivered by so many caring, dedicated patient focus health professionals.
