"Restorative"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Cannot fault all staff. But I have been let down by the Maxillofacial and Restorative department for so many years. They are great when you finally get to have an appointment. But there is no level of commitment or trust. If you can get treatment elsewhere, even if you have to pay a lot; I would recommend doing that. If you need one thing doing, great. But this department for me, the experience has been terrible and delivering treatments for serious and sensitive cases is treated as if it is unimportant. This is just my personal experience. I have been with this department for nearly all my life when it could have been dealt with years ago.

I'm so very sorry to hear that you have had such a poor experience of this Department. We would like to look into why this is the case as its important to us that all of our patients have the best standard of care possible.

Please could you e-mail us privately with your details so that we can look into this for you and try to make sure that any future attendances will be more positive.

You can e-mail the Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) who will contact the Department on your behalf and ask that this is looked into. PHT.PALS@porthosp.nhs.uk

Kind regards

Marion
