"Initial assessment"

About: King's Mill Hospital / Pain Management

I attended the pain clinic and was seen by a physiotherapist for my assessment, from the start he was dismissive and not very understanding of my explanations about my symptoms and pain I am having, there was very little eye contact which made me very uncomfortable, he made light of my situation making me feel I was imagining things and looking at my MRI scan said that it’s normal for my age and very unlikely to cause discomfort, not what I expected when I’m in agony at times.

I felt he led me putting words in my mouth and not listening to what I said but selecting positives and ignoring the negative points, I understand he has to be positive which Iam but not to the point I felt no empathy whatsoever.

To summarise I couldn’t wait to leave and am so upset I will be making a formal complaint.
