"Intrusive and not ASD friendly"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

When I go to an appointment that is literally pre-organised and all I know of is that I am going to be fitted with a piece of plastic in my mouth, that's all I expect. I don't expect to be interrogated about other problems I have struggles with. Nor am I going to sit there getting into detail about these problems whilst feeling intimidated. I have high anxiety among other things and it led to me self harming when I got home. Such horrible unnecessary bedside manner.

Thank you for letting us know about this via NHS Choices, we're extremely disappointed and would ask you please to consider contacting our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01772 522972 as we would very much like the opportunity to take this up for you and help put things right.

We hope that our PALS service hears from you soon,
