"Altrincham hospital phlebotomy"

About: Altrincham General Hospital

(as a service user),

Every time I go to Altrincham hospital for blood tests the wait is horrific. I went one recent afternoon at 1pm (they close at 3. 30pm) to be told it was closed because it was too busy. I need blood tests every 3-4 weeks for my condition monitoring and work full time. How can I justify having to take half a days holiday every 3-4 weeks just to get some bloods taken.

This week I will have to take another half day next week to try again. The service is diabolical, why can the gps or nurses not do it? I had to take time off yesterday to go to the doctors, more time off today to go for blood tests and now more time off next week to try and go for the tests again. At this rate I am either going to lose my job, or not be able to monitor my illness.
