"Amazing delivery"

I wasn’t too impressed with ins care however community midwife was amazing. Had elective c section can not fault the delivery team. Midwife, Drs anaesthist were amazing all very pleasant,polite and professional whilst still being kind and showing humanity the birth was amazing.

The staff on post natal ward however were not so good. No one introduced themselves for at least an hour I was there was hungry no food offered no induction to the ward one or two pleasant midwifes others I found less bothered and assuming things due to my personal history. They wouldn’t allow my birthing partner on the ward the following day stating she wasn’t a partner this I found really upsetting as not everyone is lucky to have their partner present.

This environment spoilt the experience however 10/10 for the delivery
