Once again our wonderful NHS and Blackpool Victoria hospital has been there for me in a time of need. Despite the terrific pressures they are under they have never failed me in my 70 years.
Having been diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2017 the speed of treatment and wonderful care I've received has been second to none.
The breast care centre does such brilliant work and has been there for me whenever I've needed them. Hug in a Bag charity also deserves a special mention. Such a lovely gesture at a time when you feel most vulnerable.
The same applies to my radiotherapy treatment at Preston hospital. Such courtesy and respect shown at all rimes. I'm truly in awe of the work they all do and will be forever grateful to all involved in my care.
